I'm yoke weoi from Singapore. Currently I'm a student from NAFA.
Studying, Diploma in Animation and Illustration.
This is my FYP for my year 3 this year.
I'm basically doing on a project on about FEARS: Social Phobias - social anxiety/ and other mental Health issues. It's an Illustration & Poetry Book, using just Copic markers, then laying out text and adjusting the pages using Adobe Id software and Photoshop for any touchups.
Each Illustrations spends at most about 1 week (If I'm not focusing on just one piece, so I'll probably jump from 1st piece to 3rd piece then 2nd piece and back to 1st piece again...) or 3 days, and some depends on how long if is not much of a detailed ones then would be 1 day.

There's once a lecturer who said this to me, that one sentence that changed the whole concept. Trying to figure out what or where or which art style am I suppose to have. Back then I can feel like I'm mostly everywhere, like there's no direction. I couldn't figure it out what was I missing. But I guess I found out what's actually my right direction to my path that I'm suppose to walk towards to. This is what the lecturer said..
"I think you're much more of a non digital person, as your art style is much more towards working on Illustrative lines..."
" ..using the lines and textures is your speciality to your originality..."
With just that one sentence, I believe sometimes you just need an answer of truth even though you try so hard to find your art style. Feeling like you've tried a lot of test but the outcome just didn't come towards what you're suppose to produce out.
I would like to say a Big Thank you to my lecturers who has given good advise through this project, and Friends supporting each other side by side.
